Holbrook, AZ: The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office has received a 2013 International 18” tandem axle trailer as a donation to be used for hauling of crime scene equipment to major incidents. Farmers Insurance and National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB), a long-time partner of the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office made this donation possible. Navajo County Sheriff’s Deputies respond to a variety of incidents all throughout the county, often in very rural and hard to reach areas.
The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, has gathered tools and equipment from within the office and outfitted this trailer to respond to every type of scenario they may encounter within their duties. The trailer has been outfitted with power tools, hand tools, lights, generators, evidence collection supplies and other equipment used to help in the collection of evidence and investigation of major incidents. Deputies and Detectives will use this trailer and equipment to help investigate and respond to large incidents and investigations including search warrant executions, crime scene examinations, arson investigations, death investigations, search and rescue operations, wildfires as well as weather and natural disasters.
Sheriff KC Clark would like to thank Farmers Insurance for the donation of the trailer to the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office. “We look forward to utilizing the equipment donated to better serve the community and citizens of Navajo County during our investigations and operations. This trailer will save us time and resources while investigating large scenes”.
