On Friday, December 21st the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office participated in the 2018 W. Steven Martin 911 Toy Drive. Navajo County Sheriff’s Office has participated in this toy drive for over 5 years help brining Christmas joy to families here in Navajo County. The W. Steven Martin 911 Toy Drive collects thousands of gifts for children all around the state for Law Enforcement agencies to distribute, Navajo County is a contributing agency to this program as well.

On Friday Deputies, Detention Officers, Dispatchers and Sheriff’s Auxiliary volunteers drove to Chandler to participate in the drive and shop for needy families throughout all of Navajo County. Over 800 presents were collected, wrapped and distributed to over 250 children. Once the presents are wrapped, Deputies and volunteers deliver the gifts to families in time for Christmas.

Sheriff KC Clark would like to thank the W. Steven Martin 911 Toy Drive for the toys along with the Sheriff’s Auxiliary Volunteers who organize this event here locally, “Our volunteers put in hundreds of hours in making this troy drive a success in Navajo County with all the shopping, travelling, wrapping and delivering of toys making sure families have a Merry Christmas this year”.
