On Monday, June 3, 2019 at approximately 12:15 A.M. a motorist came upon a single vehicle collision along Lone Pine Dame Rd. in Linden, AZ. The vehicle had left the roadway and rolled over. The vehicle was occupied by two individuals one of which had been ejected and suffered fatal injuries from the collision. A 37 year old female from Snowflake died at the scene.
Witnesses have provided information to suggest both occupants had been consuming alcohol prior to getting into the vehicle and driving. Deputies investigated the collision to determine the cause of the collision and found evidence in support of the driver being impaired.
Sheriff Clouse sends his condolences to the family however would like to remind anyone that has been consuming alcohol to please have a designated driver and don’t drive if you are impaired with alcohol or drugs.
The 99 days from Memorial Day to Labor Day are the deadliest time for drivers with July 4 topping the list. So, let this be a conversation starter for you and your family and let’s make sure we all can enjoy our summer. It only takes one accident to change a life completely.
