More than 800 miles of trail allow exploration of areas by horseback on trails into areas that would otherwise be inaccessible.
(See information on hiking trails as horses may share most developed hiking trails http://www.tracks-pinetop-lakeside.org/.)
The Tracks Organization have developed 180 miles of trails that are cared for by their organization for the use of the those who love to enjoy the forest lands and appreciate the trails, and join with other users keeping them pristine.
Riding is usually done in the same areas as hiking since separate trails are not provided. If you need to tie you horses they should be tied to a rope stretched between trees, not directly to live trees so as to not damage the bark or roots that could potentially kill the tree..
Corrals are located at Gabaldon, KP Cienega, and Strayhorse Campgrounds.
