FREE SCIENCE AND LITERACY WORKSHOP

A free science and literacy workshop, called Leap into Science, will be presented to children, ages 3 to 10 years, and their parent or caregiver on Thursday, Feb. 28, from 6:15 to 8 p.m. in the event room at Show Low Public Library. The workshop explores the elements of balance, both through the eyes of a scientist and through hands-on activities. Using a series of activity stations in an open-floor format, participants investigate the concept of balance together by balancing their bodies, exploring balancing games and toys, and creating balanced structures. Refreshments will be provided.
